Why Volunteer?

A Japanese proverbs say, "Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare."
Volunteers are the backbone of nonprofit organizations. Without our volunteers we could not fulfill our mission, we could not implement our services, education and awareness programs, and we could not raise money to fund research and trial study in finding a cure for sickle cell.
Ours is not a mission that one or a few can accomplish. After 100yrs of silence it's going to take a army to break that silence.
