A CALL TO ACTION for the Sickle Cell community!
We need you to shine the light on the FACE of Sickle Cell Disease! This is how you can help your cause.
The objective of the FACE Ambassadors Program is to utilize those whose everyday life has been personally affected by Sickle Cell Disease. They are the FACE of Sickle Cell. Who better to fight for this cause, than those afflicted with this disease, and those who care for them? By telling our stories, we will personally play a part in bringing about a greater awareness of this devastating disease to the world at large.
Qualifications
- Must be a carrier of the trait or disease or a parent or caregiver of one who suffers from the disease; any medical and educational professionals who treat and educate on the disease; and those who support the Sickle Cell community.
- Must be willing to tell your stories.
- Must promote and support the FACE Foundations Email Internet-A-Thon.
- Must support awareness and fundraising events.
